The Pittsburgh Pirates beat the Chicago Cubs for the second time in a row on Saturday at PNC Park, winning by a final of 12-6.
Leading the way for the Bucs offensively was rookie first baseman Josh Bell, who hit a pinch-hit grand slam in the 5th inning. Also hot at the plate wereAndrew McCutchen ,who had two hits, three RBIs and one run, and catcher Eric Fryer who had two hits and one RBI.
The Buccos will look to sweep the Cubs this afternoon at PNC Park before having the next four days off for the All-Star Break. You can catch all of today’s action, starting with pregame coverage, on WISR 680AM. First Pitch is set for 1:35pm.
