The Pittsburgh Pirates beat the Chicago Cubs 3-2 Friday night at PNC Park.
With the Pirates down 2-1 in the ninth inning, Bryan Reynolds reached on an infield hit and then moved to second on a Starling Marte groundout. The Cubs decided to walk Josh Bell intentionally and then walked Colin Moran on five pitches to load the bases with two outs. Cole Tucker came up next and ended up walking in the tying run. Kevin Newman then came up and hit a walk-off single into center to end the game.
