J.A. Happ pitched six scoreless innings, Polanco had four hits and the Pirates beat the Miami Marlins, 5-2, at Marlins Park.
The Pirates (75-48) won for the sixth time in their past seven games and for the 14th time in their past 18. They are now 27 games better than .500, their best mark of the season. The Pirates still trail the St Louis Cardinals by 3 ½ games
Happ (2-1) allowed four hits, all singles. He walked one and struck out six.
