Two Pittsburgh Pirates prospects have been selected to play in the Futures Game July 12th in Cincinnati as part of the All-Star festivities. First baseman Josh Bell and catcher Elias Diaz will be part of the rosters. Both are with the Altoona Curve. Altoona manager and former Pirate Tom Prince will be part of the Team USA coaching staff. Bell is second in the Double-A Eastern League with a .318 batting average. Diaz leads all catchers with 55 hits and has a .281 batting average.
