The PIAA baseball and softball playoffs begin today. In the Triple-A baseball first round, Mars will meet Erie Cathedral Prep in Erie at 4pm. In the Double-A first round, Moniteau will face Girard at Clarion Limestone high school. First pitch is 4:30pm.
In Double-A softball: Moniteau will face Everett at Clarion-Limestone high school at 3:30pm. In Single-A first round play: Cardinal Wuerl North Catholic will meet Saegertown at Penn State-Behrend.
