A Philadelphia native has been sentenced after being arrested in connection with a gun and drug incident in Butler in 2016.
According to the U.S. Department of Justice, 35-year-old Brandon Morris, aka “Bopp”, has been sentenced to 70 months in prison followed by four years supervised release.
Earlier this year Morris admitted to giving a criminal informant three bricks of heroin and a half ounce of crack for $2,000 in June of 2016.
State Police later searched Morris’ East Brady Street residence and found heroin, crack cocaine, and a large amount of cash in addition to a 12-gauge shotgun, ammunition, and other drug paraphernalia. Morris was prohibited from possessing a gun due to a prior felony conviction.
