The Philadelphia Phillies defeated the Chicago Cubs 6-2 last night and have clinched their first National League East Division title since 2011. The victory also moved the Phillies to within a half-game of the Los Angeles Dodgers for the best record in the National League, which gives the home-field advantage in the league playoffs.
Only the Phillies, Brewers and Cleveland Guardians have clinched their divisions as of today.
