The public is invited to participate in a wild turkey survey starting next week.
The Pennsylvania Game Commission’s inaugural Wild Turkey Sighting Survey begins August 1st.
The Commission is looking for information like location, date, and number of wild turkeys that people observe. This data will allow the commission to determine how factors like weather, habitat, food, and predators affect turkey reproduction and population.
Participants should submit their information to pgcdatacollection.pa.gov/TurkeyBroodSurvey.
