The Pittsburgh Penguins defeated the Buffalo Sabres 4-3 last night at Consol Energy Center. It was the Pens third win in a row. Back-up goaltender Jeff Zatkoff appeared in his first game of the season, and stopped 50 shots. Pascal Dupuis, Patric Hornqvist and Ben Lovejoy all scored their first goals of the season. Evgeni Malkin scored his fourth goal, which was on a power play. The Pens have also won six of their past seven games since beginning the season 0-3. They will visit the Toronto Maple Leafs tomorrow night. Face-off is 7pm. Pre-game on WISR 680am is 6:30pm.
