The Pittsburgh Penguins defeated the Washington Capitals 6-2 Sunday at the Consol Energy Center. The victory was the Pens sixth in a row. They have now tied the New York Rangers for second place in the Metropolitan Division. The Pens have 10 games remaining in the regular season. They are idle until Thursday, when they host the New Jersey Devils. Only four home games remain.
