Last night the New York Rangers defeated the Columbus Blue Jackets to clinch a playoff spot. The Rangers trail the Penguins by three points in the Metropolitan Division with both teams having three games left in the regular season. The Pens have a magic number of four to clinch home-ice advantage to start the playoffs.
