The Pittsburgh Penguins defeated the New York Rangers 3-1 last night in game three of their Stanley Cup Playoff series. Sidney Crosby, Matt Cullen and Kris Letang each scored goals for the Penguins. Cullen scored a breakaway goal in the third period which decided the game. Crosby scored a power play goal to tie the game in the second period. Matt Murray returned in goal for the Penguins and stopped 16 of 17 shots on goal. The Pens also held the Rangers without a goal on four power play tries. The Pens put 30 shots on Rangers goaltender Henrik Lundqvist.
Game four of the best-of-seven series will be played Thursday in New York City. Face-off is 7:08pm. Hear the game on WISR 680am beginning at 6:30pm.

Tampa Bay defeated Detroit 3-2 and have taken a 3-1 series lead.
St. Louis defeated Chicago 4-3 and have taken a 3-1 series lead over the defending Stanley Cup champions.
Anaheim defeated Nashville 3-0, and now trail the Predators 2-1 in the series.
