The Pittsburgh Penguins defeated the Philadelphia Flyers 5-0 last night to take Game Four of their Stanley Cup Playoff Series. The victory gives the Pens a 3-1 series lead. Evgeni Malkin and Phil Kessel scored goals in the opening period and Matt Murray stopped all 26 Philadelphia shots on goal for the win. Sidney Crosby scored his fifth goal of the playoffs. The Pens went 1-for-4 on the power play, while holding Philadelphia 0-for-4.
The Pens will host the Flyers tomorrow night at PPG Paints Arena needing one more win to move on to the second round. Face-off will be 7pm Friday. Pre-game on WISR is 6:30pm.
