The Pittsburgh Penguins defeated the Philadelphia Flyers 7-0 last night in game one of their Stanley Cup Playoff Series. Sidney Crosby netted a hat trick and Matt Murray stopped all 24 shots on goal. It was Murray’s third consecutive playoff shut-out dating back to last season. Jake Guentzel had a goal and three assists.
The Pens host the Flyers Friday night at PPG Paints Arena. Face-off is 7pm. WISR pre-game is 6:30pm.
