Yet another injury for the Pittsburgh Penguins – after winger Patric Hornqvist left the ice during practice Monday at the UPMC Lemieux Sports Complex in Cranberry Township. The Pens lost defenseman Brian Dumoulin to ankle surgery this week, and Bryan Rust also went down in practice over the weekend.
The Pens have signed forward Stefan Noesen, their leading scorer at Wilkes-Barre/Scranton. They have placed Joseph Blandisi on waivers to make room for the former #1 draft pick of Ottawa, who has 14 goals and 22 points with the Baby Penguins.
The Pens host St. Louis tomorrow night in a nationally-televised game.
