The Pittsburgh Penguins play the first of four games on the west coast tonight when they take on the Los Angeles Kings. Face-off is 10:30pm. Pre-game on WISR begins at 10pm.
The Penguins split their weekend games which kicked off a seven-game road trip. The Pens defeated Buffalo 5-2 Friday night, then lost to Washington 4-1 Saturday night.
In Friday’s game, goaltender Alex Nedeljkovic became the first goalie in NHL history to score a goal and have an assist in a game. Nedeljkovic scored an empty-net goal in the third period of the Penguins victory. He is also the first goaltender to have scored a goal in the NHL. AHL and ECHL. He also stopped 40 of 42 shots in the victory.
