The Pittsburgh Penguins defeated the Ottawa Senators 6-4 last night at PPG Paints Arena. The Pens jumped out to a 5-1 lead before allowing the Senators to score three consecutive goals in the third period. Defenseman Mike Matheson scored twice for the Penguins.
The win put the Pens back into a tie for third place in the Metropolitan Division with Washington. They are three points behind the first place New York Rangers.
The Pens are back in action tonight in Columbus at 7pm. WISR will join the game following Knoch basketball. They return home to host Winnipeg Sunday afternoon. Face-off is 1pm. Pre-game on WISR is 12:30pm.
