The Pittsburgh Penguins fell to the visiting New York Rangers in overtime on Saturday, losing by a final of 4-3.
Scoring goals for the Pens were Sidney Crosby, Jake Guentzel (his 40th of the season), and Nick Bjugstad. Crosby also tallied his 100th point of the season with an assist on Guentzel’s goal. Goalie Matt Murray made 26 saves in the regular season finale.
The Penguins, who clinched a playoff spot last week and finished in third in the Metropolitan Division, will learn more about the playoffs on Sunday.
