The Pittsburgh Penguins fell at home to the Edmonton Oilers Saturday night in a shootout by a final of 3-2.
Scoring both goals for the Pens was superstar Evgeni Malkin, who has now scored three goals in the last two games. Malkin almost had a hat trick in Saturday’s game with ten seconds to go in the second period.
Getting the start in net for the Penguins was Jeff Zatkoff. He made 34 saves in the game.
The Penguins will have Sunday and Monday off, before they travel to San Jose to face off against the Sharks on Tuesday. Pregame for Tuesday will begin at 10pm on WISR 680AM and on wisr680.com. Game time is set for 10:30pm.
