The Pittsburgh Penguins lost to the Detroit Red Wings 5-2 last night. Sidney Crosby and Kris Letang scored the Penguin goals. The loss drops the Pens to 15-20-4 overall on the road this season. They are the only Eastern Conference team to have a losing record on the road, and currently hold a playoff spot.
The Pens visit New Jersey Thursday. They lead Columbus by one point for second place in the Metropolitan Division with five games remaining. The Blue Jackets defeated Edmonton 7-3 last night. Philadelphia lost to Minnesota 3-2 in overtime. The Flyers are two points behind the Pens.
