Pens down Predators

The Pittsburgh Penguins defeated the Nashville Predators 4-2 last night at PPG Paints Arena. Patric Hornqvist scored twice and Matt Murray stopped 37 of 39 shots on goal. The victory moved the Pens to within five points of first-place Washington, who lost last night. The Pens host second-place Columbus Friday. The Blue Jackets won last night and remain three points in front of the Pens.
