The Pittsburgh Penguins won their third consecutive game in Canada in the past week with a 3-1 victory last night in Winnipeg. Tristan Jarry stopped 30 of 31 shots, allowing a game-opening goal in the first period. It was the only goal he allowed on the trip. Jason Zucker, Danton Heinen and Jake Guentzel scored the Penguins goals.
The wins have brought momentum back to a team that had lost eight of 10 games heading into the road trip. The Pens improved to 8-6-4 overall and return home to host Vancouver Wednesday night. They have climbed from last place to a fourth-place tie with Columbus in the Metropolitan Division.
