The Pittsburgh Penguins lost to the New York Rangers 4-3 in overtime last night. The loss will send the Penguins on the road to open the Stanley Cup Playoffs. The Pens will meet the New York Islanders in their First Round best-of-seven series. That series will begin Wednesday in New York. Face-off is 7:30pm. Pre-game on WISR will be 7pm.
Jake Guentzel scored his 40th goal of the season in Saturday’s loss. Sidney Crosby ended the season with 100 points. The Pens also finished the season with 100 points.

The Florida Panthers and Buffalo Sabres fired their head coaches Sunday after missing the playoffs.
