The Pittsburgh Penguins lost to the Arizona Coyotes 5-2 last night, losing for their second straight game and for the fourth time in their last five games. The Pens even put a puck in their own net in last night’s game while trailing 3-2 in the third period.
Lars Eller and Sidney Crosby scored the Penguins goals, both coming in the second period. For Crosby, he now has 27 goals this season.
Crosby has now tied former Penguin Mark Recchi for 21ast on the all-time NHL goal scoring list. He now has 577 career goals.
The Pens return home to host Florida and Montreal in back-to-back games Friday and Saturday at PPG Paints Arena.
