Game seven of the Stanley Cup Eastern Conference final will be played tonight in Pittsburgh. The Penguins host the Tampa Bay Lightning with their series tied at 3-3. The Penguins are 2-7 all-time on home ice in Game seven’s, and have lost five of those games in a row. Tampa Bay has a 5-1 record in Game seven’s. Face-off is 8:10pm. Hear the game on WISR 680am beginning at 7:30pm. The winner of tonight’s game will meet the San Jose Sharks in the Stanley Cup final. The Sharks eliminated the St. Louis Blues 5-2 last night to earn their first ever trip to the league championship series.
Penguins affiliate in the ECHL – Wheeling, will be playing for that league’s title beginning Saturday. The Nailers will meet Allen, Texas in the Kelly Cup final after winning the Eastern Conference championship over South Carolina this week.
