–The New York Islanders defeated the Florida Panthers 4-2 and have taken a 2-0 series lead in that qualifying series.
–Nashville defeated Arizona 4-2 to tie their Western Conference qualifying series at 1-1.
–Calgary is a game away from winning their five-game series with Winnipeg after a 6-2 victory.
