The president of the newly merged PennWest University will be taking a new role with the state system.
Dr. Dale Elizabeth-Pehrsson announced she will be stepping down from her president role and take a new position that will focus on securing financial support for the new university.
Her new title will be CEO of PennWest Investment.
She served as president of PennWest since the merger of all three schools—Clarion, California, and Edinboro.
Prior to that, she was named Clarion’s president in 2018.
