Donald Trump won nearly every battleground state in the country, including Pennsylvania.
It wasn’t until just before 2 a.m. Wednesday that it was declared Trump won our state and the 20 electoral votes that comes with it.
It was a huge blow to Hillary Clinton. No Democrat has gotten to the White House without winning Pennsylvania since Harry Truman in 1948.
The last Republican presidential candidate to win in Pennsylvania was George H.W. Bush in 1988.
Clinton and Trump made more than 30 visits to Pennsylvania over the last five months of the campaign, more than any other state except Florida.
