There is still time to register for an open house later this week at the Butler Water Treatment Plant.
Pennsylvania American Water is hosting the tour from 9 a.m. to noon this Saturday (11/5) at their facility on Oneida Valley Road in Summit Township.
Those attending will have the chance to learn more about where drinking water comes from, as well as the ways that the water is treated and tested. The company’s local management team and water professionals will be on hand to answer questions.
The tours are free and for all ages but visitors should RSVP by the end of the day Thursday on the PA American Water Facebook page under the events tab. Those attending will be required to bring valid photo ID to enter treatment plant property.
