The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation will soon accept applications for a grant program focused on electric vehicle infrastructure.
The application period for the first round of National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure grants opens tomorrow with public sector organizations, nonprofit entities, and corporations or businesses encouraged to apply.
Over $170 million in federal funding is available through this program to plan, design, construct, operate, and maintain electric vehicle infrastructure sites across the state over the next five years. This is a reimbursement grant program with applicants required to provide a match of at least 20%.
Applications must be submitted electronically through the PA Department of Community and Economic Development by April 6th.
