Butler County is expected to see an inch or two of snow throughout the day on Tuesday; however, a year ago this week, much of Pennsylvania was digging out from a double-digit snowfall.
PennDOT wants to ensure residents that they’re ready for whatever this winter has in store.
PennDOT Deputy Secretary for Highway Administration George McCauley says the organization has the equipment and personnel to manage 2,300 different snow routes across the state.
A new online resource, PA511 Connect, was developed in response to last year’s snowstorm, which resulted in hundreds of motorists stuck in traffic on the Pennsylvania Turnpike.
