The public is welcome to attend a PennDOT open house Thursday about plans for an upcoming turnpike construction project.
The event will be held at the Marshall Middle School Cafeteria in Wexford from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
The $76 million project includes widening between the Cranberry Interchange and Warrendale Toll Plaza from four lanes with a 10 foot median to six lanes with a 26 foot median. The work will also replace three bridges, extend a culvert, and lower Mt. Pleasant Road.
The project is expected to begin in 2019 and be completed by 2021.
