A portion of Route 356 in Freeport had to be closed Saturday night due to a landslide.
After the weekend of rain, part of the hillside on Route 356 near the 2nd Street bridge fell onto the road around 10 p.m.
Pictures from the scene show mud and trees spilling onto the southbound lane.
PennDOT crews were on the scene for hours until the road reopened around 2 a.m.
