The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation is continuing mid-summer road project maintenance work around Butler County this week.
These activities include drainage work along Whitestown Road in Butler Township, pipe work on Dick Road in Connoquenessing Township, and bridge deck repair on Franklin Street in Franklin Township.
Patching will be taking place on Route 8 in Penn Township, Pleasant Valley Road in Muddy Creek Township, and Harmony Street in Forward Township, while seal coat work is planned for Route 19 as well as Hartman, Seneca School, and Little Creek Roads in Jackson Township.
Crews will also be shoulder cutting along Route 8 in Mercer Township, Creek Bottom, Windy Point, and Campground Roads in Marion Township, and Eau Claire Road in Mercer and Marion Townships. Mowing is planned for Route 422 (New Castle Road) in Muddy Creek Township.
