Pennsylvania Department of Transportation facilities will be closed this weekend in observance of the Juneteenth holiday.
All PennDOT driver’s license and photo centers will be shut down from Saturday through Monday.
The federal holiday was enacted with bipartisan support in the summer of 2021 to commemorate emancipation and steps taken towards freedom.
PennDOT officials say motorists can still access services and products online through their website at no additional charge.
