Motorists in southeastern Butler County should be aware of some bridge replacement work beginning this week.
According to the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation, the West Winfield Bridge in Winfield Township will be replaced over Rough Run.
Daytime single lane restrictions will be in place on Winfield Road between Clearfield and Cornplanter roads. Expect congestion and delays.
This $2.5 million project is expected to be completed in November.
