A portion of Knoch Road in Clinton Township is expected to be closed beginning Tuesday as crews continue to work on Saxonburg Boulevard.
PennDOT says the closure will last through the end of the week. A detour will be in place that uses Knoch Road, West Main Street, Pittsburgh Street and Saxonburg Boulevard.
The closure will allow crews to tie the Knoch Road intersection into the new Saxonburg Boulevard.
When that work is complete, the Route 228/Saxonburg Boulevard roundabout project will be finished.

Motorists on Boyers Road in northern Butler County should be aware of two bridge projects that will result in detours.
PennDOT is replacing the Slippery Rock Bridge- from Harrisville Road to Black Road- and the McMurray Run Bridge, from Wick Road to Rihel Road.
Work is expected to begin Tuesday and continue through October.
There are posted detours for both projects.
