PennDOT is beginning work on a couple of new projects this week.
A portion of Route 356 between Morton Avenue and Route 8 in the City of Butler will be resurfaced.
Starting Monday, flagger-controlled lane restrictions will be in place. Drivers should expect delays as PennDOT says it’s a slow-moving operation as they clean the inlets and pipes. Work will continue through the end of July.
In southern Butler County, traffic will be down to one lane on Route 228 between Brewer and Ekastown roads as crews do work linked to the Route 228 Cox’s Corners Project in Clinton Township. Drivers should expect delays in the area after 9 a.m.
