Sidewalks will be added to a busy roadway in Slippery Rock.
PennDOT is working on adding sidewalks and making other repairs to a portion of Kiester Road, which runs between Slippery Rock University and Slippery Rock Middle and High schools. Specifically, the improvements will be made between Harmony Road and Rocket Drive, which leads to the middle school.
Construction is getting underway this week.
