The neon lights of the Penn Theater will once again be shining on downtown Butler in the near future.
According to Butler Mayor Tom Donaldson, the Pittsburgh History and Landmarks Foundation has committed funds to repairing the lights.
The exact date of the repairs has not yet been determined but the lights will be on a timer to be on from dusk to midnight.
The cost of the electricity to power the lights for that amount of time each day is not yet known.
