With all the delicious food choices available around the holidays, an educational organization is offering information to make goat an option for next year.
Penn State Extension is offering home study course of six weekly lessons on raising meat goats for profit beginning February 2nd.
Lessons focus on issues such as nutrition, health, marketing, and reproduction. Worksheet questions help producers analyze goat meat operations. Lessons are available through email and the internet as well as conventional mail delivery.
Those interested in the course can view details and sign up through the Penn State Extension website before January 24th.
