The Carolina Hurricanes won the Metropolitan Division by one point over New Jersey after defeating Florida 6-4 last night. The Hurricanes finished their regular season with 113 points, the second-most points in the NHL.
The Dallas Stars won the Western Conference Central Division by one point over defending Stanley Cup champion Colorado after 1-0 victory last night over St. Louis.
