The Pittsburgh Penguins have re-signed defenseman Justin Schultz to a one-year contract. The Pens allowed Schultz to become a free agent after their Stanley Cup run and he chose to come back to Pittsburgh for $1.4 million. He made more than $3 million last season. Schultz was acquired by the Pens from Edmonton at the trade deadline.
The Penguins will be holding a public viewing party July 27th at Stage AE for the premiere of the team’s Stanley Cup championship film. Tickets are on sale via Ticketmaster.
