The Penguins’ second round opponent could be determined tonight in Game 6 between the Washington Capitals and Toronto Maple Leafs.
The Capitals currently lead the series 3-2, although tonight’s game will be played in Toronto. If the Capitals win the series, they will have home ice advantage over the Penguins in the second round. If the Maple Leafs win, the Penguins will have home ice advantage for the series.
If needed, Game 7 for the Capitals – Maple Leafs series will be set for Tuesday evening in Washington.
