The Pittsburgh Penguins are holding their prospect development camp this week at the Consol Energy Center. Wednesday the Pens announced they have signed former number-one draft pick Beau Bennett to a one-year contract worth $800,000. Bennett struggld through an injury-filled season last year, scoring just four goals. The Pens also signed fifth-round pick Dominik Simon to a three-year entry-level contract and will begin next season at Wilke-Barre/Scranton.
