The Pittsburgh Penguins defeated the visiting Chicago Blackhawks on Saturday night, the final 5-2.
Scoring goals for the Pens were Brock McGinn, Drew O’Connor, Teddy Blueger, Danton Heinen, and Jason Zucker. Pittsburgh goalie Tristan Jarry made 18 saves on 20 shots. Former Pittsburgh goalie Marc-Andre Fleury made four saves on ten shots for Chicago. With the win, Penguins’ Head Coach Mike Sullivan becomes the winningest coach in team history with 253 wins.
The Penguins will return to action on Tuesday when they take on the Dallas Stars in the second game of an eight game homestand. You can catch all of Tuesday’s action, starting with pre-game coverage at 6:30pm on WISR 680AM and 107.5FM. Faceoff is set for 7pm.
