The Pittsburgh Penguins defeated the Philadelphia Flyers 4-3 last night at the Consol Energy Center. The Pens scored three goals in the second period of the game after the Flyers had taken a 2-0 lead in the first period. Phil Kessel scored twice. Sidney Crosby scored his 15th goal of the season. Trevor Dailey scored the other Pens goal. The victory snapped an eight-game losing streak to Philadelphia. The Pens had 45 shots on goal.
Last night’s game was the 400th consecutive sell-out at the Consol Energy Center.
The Pens host the Vancouver Canucks Saturday for a 12:30pm face-off. Pre-game can be heard on WISR 680am beginning at noon. The Pens visit Washington Sunday for a 12:30pm face-off.
