One person was flown to a Pittsburgh trauma center Friday morning after being hit by a vehicle in Washington Township.
The accident happened just after 8 a.m. on Oneida Valley Road near the intersection with North Washington Road.
Details on the accident are unclear, but when emergency crews got on scene they found one person lying on the road.
A medical helicopter was called to the scene and flew the person to UPMC Presby.
Crews cleared the scene by 9:30 a.m.
