Central Electric Cooperative is issuing another peak alert for today as temperatures are expected to get close to 90 this afternoon.
They ask that you conserve power by turning off all non-essential electric items and set your air conditioner at a minimum of 78 degrees from 1 to 7 p.m.
The CEC also says to use dehumidifiers, pool pumps, and electric appliances outside of the peak period.
