Pastor Bob Huber of North Street Christian Church in downtown Butler has been battling a rare form of lymphoma for the past year.
Although his church building is temporarily closed, the longtime pastor received a surprise message of encouragement yesterday when members of his congregation drove past his house in a caravan of vehicles.
Huber says he’s hopeful of being able to return to his church after successful chemotherapy.
